Theatre - Directing

    Sunnyvale Community Players
    Sunnyvale, California

    April 15 - May 8, 2005

42nd Street is a light-hearted, song and dance extravaganza. It's a valentine to Broadway, celebrating the glamour, the lights, and the people behind the shows that live and die on the Great White Way.

Full of tap dancing and many memorable melodies, the show is a feel-good story about a young aspiring starlet seeking her first big break, then getting an even bigger break, in the comeback production of a longtime reknowned director.

This is the eighth production, and seventh musical I've directed in California.

This is a show for singers and dancers. Of course, there's acting in it too, which is why I'm there. And I have the privilege to work with a choreographer who really makes even non-dancers shine. Let me put it this way, she got me to dance in it a few years ago.
